IACCT YOUTH GROUP ELECTIONS
SATURDAY, MAY 19, 2012 at 12:00 NOON
The nominations should be submitted to iacctyouthgroup@yahoo.com by May 12, 2012. Late nominations will not be honored.
These elections will be held in accordance with IACCT Youth Group Bylaws approved by the Board in 2010.

Highlights of the IACCT Youth Group Bylaws include: Membership is open to any youth from the Greater Kalamazoo area. Only children of current IACCT Members (Life Members and Annual Members),
who are/will be enrolled in eighth through twelfth grades in the Fall, are eligible as voting members of the Youth Group. Only a voting member can serve as an officer of the Youth Group.
Only for 2012 Elections, the Board has agreed that the voting member may be an individual student member of IACCT.

HIGH SCHOOL GRADUATION CEREMONY SARASWATI POOJAN

It is our great pleasure to announce the annual High School Graduation Ceremony and Saraswati Pooja to recognize the achievement of our students.
Swami Bodhananda Saraswati, Founder and Spiritual Director of the Sambodh Center for Human Excellence,
will grace the occasion by his presence and a discourse. As is customary, the Temple will have a gift of appreciation and
certificate for all students participating in the ceremony. The program will include Saraswati Pooja, followed by address by
Swami Bodhananda, presentation of graduation certificates, bhajans Ð time permitting, and lunch prasadam. We understand that the following students
from our community will achieve the educational milestone: Samir Deshpande, Miki Arvindbhai Patel, Mayur Arvindbhai Patel, Gauri Atul Patel,
Shiv Jagdish Enakar, and possibly others. IACCT congratulates all graduating students and their parents.
VOLUNTEERS NEEDED TO HELP COOK FOR REGULAR SATSANGS AND
SPECIAL EVENTS
We are grateful to numerous families who have graciously
sponsored satsangs and special events at the temple. They have cooked lunch and
dinner prasadam for hundreds of devotees. We have received several requests from
families who would like to spsonsor a satsang, but are not comfortable in their ability
or interest to cook lunch or dinner prasadam. We are seeking families or individuals
who enjoy cooking and are willing to volunteer their services (hopefully without any
charges or for some modest fees). Based on experience by several families, we believe
that cooking for regular satsangs may require any where from 8 to 16 person hours for
a simple lunch prasadam. Please call Vijay Sood at 269-327-2846 or at
vksood@aol.com if you are interested in volunteering your services or if you have
any questions or comments.
MEMBERSHIP-DONATION UPDATE 2012
Our special thanks to all those who have sent in their taxdeductible membership-donation for 2012. We have received membership-donations from almost one hundred families
and individuals. IACCT annual Membership-donations cover January through December every year. There are many of
you who have supported us in the past, but have not paid their annual membership for 2012. We welcome new members
to support IACCT programs. Your membership help tremendously in providing many services the IACCT offers. Please
send your tax deductible membership-donation to IACCT. Please make your check payable to Indo-American
Cultural Center & Temple or IACCT and mail to: IACCT, 2002 Ramona Avenue, Kalamazoo, MI 49002.
