🌟 Sponsor a Satsang
We have had tremendous community participation in our Satsangs because virtually all of them are sponsored
by community members. A Satsang can be sponsored by one family or jointly by several families. It is an
excellent way to celebrate a special event or to remember loved ones:

Sponsors may also take part in a Pooja or Havan of their choice, provided by IACC&T.
The IACC&T Facilities Manager normally gives these guidelines to sponsors when they volunteer. Potential
and committed sponsors are encouraged to call the Facilities Manager and get a copy in advance.
📋 Guidelines for Satsang Sponsors
Responsibilities taken on by the sponsor:
- Lunch: the sponsor provides the food for lunch after Satsang. Tableware is supplied by the Temple.
- Kitchen: available the day before and the day of the Satsang. For other days, please arrange with the Facilities Manager.
- Keys: get the Temple keys from the Facilities Manager, who can also explain the kitchen, safety precautions and where items are kept.
- Set-up: on Satsang day, the sponsor sets up chairs, water pitchers, tableware and food.
- Garbage: the sponsor watches the garbage containers, puts in new bags (provided by the Temple) when one is full, and takes the full bags to the outside garbage container.
- Tables and chairs: after lunch, wipe the tables with a wet cloth and put the chairs back on the tables.
- Clean-up: dispose of leftover food and clean the counters. The rest of the cleaning is done by a maid provided by the Temple.
- Return the keys if borrowed.
- Special Pooja or Havan: the Temple Pooja is the first item on every Satsang day. The sponsor may hold a special Pooja or Havan of their choice instead; please arrange this with the Temple Priest at least one week in advance. For a Havan, contact the Priest as early as possible, since it needs more preparation.
- Pooja items: if the sponsor requests a Pooja before Satsang, please bring the items listed below. Extra items for a Havan are worked out with the Priest.
- Sanctum: please help the Priest clean the sanctum area after the Satsang.
- Need help? Contact the Chairman of the Religious Committee, the Temple Priest or the Facilities Manager. Their phone numbers are in the IACC&T newsletter.
